This blog has always been rooted in softness — but healing isn’t always soft. Sometimes it’s loud. Sometimes it’s uncomfortable. Sometimes it demands that you stop hiding and start showing up, even when every part of you wants to stay invisible. For years, I felt safest behind a screen, sharing my voice without ever putting myself fully out there. But at some point, I realized that playing small wasn’t protecting me — it was keeping me stuck.
My body made that truth impossible to ignore. The tension, the spasms, the exhaustion, the rapid weight loss — it was all a signal that I was slipping back into survival mode. Even basic stretching felt like a marathon. Deep down, I knew what it meant: my nervous system was still holding onto years of stress, and staying in familiar environments that weren’t truly safe for me was no longer an option.
I made a choice. I doubled down on healing — somatic work, meditation, and learning to forgive myself for falling back into old patterns. And then I did the thing that scared me most: I started showing up visibly and unapologetically on social media. Because if my message is about growth, I can’t hide from it myself.
At some point, you have to decide you’re done living on autopilot. Done ignoring your needs. Done pouring energy everywhere except into your own life.
Here are some somatic releases that have helped me. If you’re a visual person like myself, click the link for the Facebook Reel.

Start healing – whether it’s quietly, out loud, or a mixture of both. You deserve to feel safe, not stuck.
